Starry Night Halos Switchback Sequential Tube Wiring Diagram
HOW-TO WIRE UP YOUR TUBES
Each kit comes with 2 switchback sequential tubes, 2 switchback sequential drivers, and mounting hardware.
There are two wire harnesses coming from the switchback driver. The first harness will have a connector that plugs into the switchback sequential tube. The second harness contains 4 wires at the end of it. The red wire is 12v positive and will go to the positive post on the battery. The black wire is 12v negative and will go to the negative post on the battery. The white white will tap into ACC positive. The yellow wire will tap into the turn signal positive wire on your vehicle.
To test the tubes, connect the red wire to 12v positive and black wire to 12v negative. Touch the white wire to 12v positive and the tube should illuminate white. Touch the yellow wire to 12v positive and the tube should illuminate and flow amber.
The tubes can be cut by every 9 LEDs. Please be warned that cutting the tube will void the warranty and will not be eligible for replacement. These switchback sequential tubes are not waterproof and are intended to be mounted inside of your headlights.
The switchback sequential tubes are not waterproof and are intended for use inside of your headlight only.
If you cut your switchback sequential tubes you will void the warranty.
The switchback sequential tubes are very flexible but do not try to test the limits on it as too much pressure a certain way may pinch the led strip inside and burn out an LED.
